The Sandstone Rambler is now finished for this year. The service has done very well with 1472 passengers being carried in 2005.

Users of the service have said how useful the service has been, with clean buses, helpful drivers and they know it will always turn up. Therefore I write to thank everyone at Anthony's Travel for their efforts in making the service such a success; the passengers and myself appreciate the work which goes into turning out clean, reliable and well maintained buses with a team of Drivers who have worked together to provide a very high level of customer satisfaction.

England Coach to Runcorn Aid

Runcorn will be using the services of the England coach, drafted in by the Canal Street outfit for their Littlewoods sponsored midweek FA Cup replay at Springfield Park. Unfortunately, providing the perfect run-down before the First Round replay will be the actual England coach - Linnets Director Tony Bamber purchasing the luxury vehicle for his company Anthony's Travel.

Previously used by Terry Venables' England squad, the coach - equipped with a
lounge area, colour television, cooker and fridge - will keep the Vauxhall Conference
in the traveling style they have become accustomed to. Last year, the Linnets
traveled to away games in the coach used by pop band 'Take That'.

As the co-ordiniator of the team’s fixtures, which are often extremely high profile and attract a great deal of interest, it is imperative that all aspects of our arrangements are professionally dealt with.

I am writing to you with reference to the Bus service 35 from Shopping City , Runcorn to Littlebourne Park, Runcorn. 

This service is operated on your behalf by 
'Anthony's Travel'. This bus service is probably the finest Community Relations exercise that I have come across in the Runcorn area. It is used by many elderly people, I am an OAP myself and it has certainly extended the numbers of people that we now know. As soon as you board this vehicle you can sense the pleasant atmosphere. Everybody greets passengers boarding the bus as friends.

Nobody can speak highly enough of John the driver. Within a very short space of time, he got to know all his regular passengers and his friendly, helpful, smiling manner is incredible. Nothing is too much trouble for him. I know that all of the other passengers echo my sentiments.

If it possible, I would like you to contact Anthony's Travel and compliment them on their driver and the service he provides.
