Following funding and support from Anthony’s Travel, on Saturday 26th May Joanne Hughes will be skydiving above Cumbria raising vital funds for HAFS.
HAFS Ltd (Halton Autistic Family Support Group Limited) is a community based voluntary support group that operates in the borough of Halton founded in November 2001 . As there are currently no out of school services provided specifically for Autistic children or families in Halton, HAFS fills this gap in provision and provides a unique service. The Group provides regular meetings, events and assistance for families.
HAFS are taking on a big fundraising drive to raise funds for a combined Autism Centre of Excellence and Hallwood Park Community Centre New Build Project,
The Centre will provide respite, play, social activities, independent living skills, vocational education and training, research and life long learning to all members with autism spectrum conditions and their families and professionals. The Hallwood Park Community Centre aspect of the building will provide a badly needed Community Centre and social hub for the residents of Hallwood Park Estate. HAFs are appealing for help from the local community and business sector.
