Anthonys Travel honour founder Tony Bamber with new addition to the fleet

Anthony’s Travel have taken delivery of a EVM Mercedes Sprinter Euro 6 516 Cdi minicoach.

Anthony’s Travel have taken delivery of a EVM Mercedes Sprinter Euro 6 516 Cdi minicoach. Fitted with 22 seats, air conditioning, power door, PA system, Synectic CCTV system, Genius telematic system, You Track vehicle locator and Alcolock UK V3, this will be the third EVM Minicoach to enter the award winning coach companies fleet, with the build quality of EVM and excellent after sales service being a key factor in the repeat order.

Also in recognition to the founder of Anthony’s Travel , Tony Bamber who passed away in May, the minicoach is dedicated to him with the registration plate TB65ANT and within the vehicle logos ‘Tony Bamber – the legend continues’ Richard Bamber, Managing Partner of Anthony’s Travel commented ‘This is our 30th year of trading, my Dads first vehicle was a Mercedes 307D minicoach back in 1985 so it seemed fitting that we recognise him on this latest minicoach as a little discreet nod of respect. I would also like to thank everyone within the Industry who have contacted us to offer their condolences over the past few months, whilst we knew he was popular the respect shown and tributes have been overwhelming. Whilst he had taken a firm back seat within the company for numerous years he never lost touch with clients, friends, suppliers and the community at large. Superleague Rugby Club Widnes Vikings recently renamed their Community Player of the year award ‘The Tony Bamber Cup’ and Victoria Music Group are presenting ‘ The Tony Bamber Award for Arts’ in Dads honour, amazing tributes. The legend really does continue.’
